Privacy design

Your conversations are not our product.

Spanrise is designed not to read, export, log or transmit ChatGPT conversation content, prompts, passwords, cookies or OpenAI account details.

How ChatGPT traffic works

The ChatGPT page communicates directly with OpenAI and its normal service infrastructure. Spanrise does not proxy that traffic through an AI Solution server, and AI Solution does not receive the contents of the page, conversations, prompts, passwords or ChatGPT session cookies.

Information Spanrise uses

The separate Spanrise service processes only the information needed to provide licensing, trials, releases and updates: a license key when supplied, a pseudonymized hardware identifier, the License ID, the Spanrise version and the macOS version. The app derives the hardware identifier from the Mac platform UUID, hashes it locally and sends only the hash; the raw platform UUID and raw Mac serial number are not transmitted or stored by AI Solution.

Purchases and license delivery

Stripe processes checkout and payment information under its own privacy terms. At checkout, Stripe collects the buyer’s full name and complete billing address, including street, city, postal code, state or province, and country. The Spanrise service receives the payment status, order identifiers, amount, currency and checkout email address needed to create and deliver a license. It stores a keyed hash of the email address rather than the readable address in the application database. The recoverable license key is encrypted at rest solely for delivery and support.

When transactional email is used, the checkout email address and license message are sent to the configured email-delivery provider. Payment and webhook records are retained as needed for order fulfilment, refunds, fraud prevention, accounting and legal obligations.

Downloads and infrastructure

The website, release API and downloads are delivered through Cloudflare infrastructure. Standard network and security metadata may be processed to deliver and protect those requests. Spanrise does not intentionally store raw IP addresses in its application database.

Optional diagnostics

Diagnostics are disabled unless the user consents. When enabled, the backend accepts only allowlisted operational events, such as an app start, update availability or a technical error, together with the app version, macOS version and a pseudonymized installation identifier. Diagnostic events are retained for up to 30 days and never include conversation or prompt text.

Welcome offer and optional marketing

When a trial has ended, Spanrise can send a one-time welcome code to an email address supplied by the user. The address is encrypted at rest, a keyed hash is used to prevent repeated claims, and delivery is handled by the configured email provider. Consent to receive future Spanrise news and offers is separate, optional and unchecked by default. The choice and its timestamp are stored so that AI Solution can respect it.

Control and requests

You can leave optional diagnostics and marketing communications disabled. For access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of marketing consent and other privacy questions concerning Spanrise data, contact info@aisolution.dev.

Website analytics

The Spanrise website uses Google Tag Manager to operate Google Analytics 4 for visit and usage measurement. Analytics initializes automatically when a page is visited and may set analytics cookies and process technical identifiers and usage data. Standard events may include page_view, session_start, first_visit and user_engagement. No separate advertising or remarketing tag is currently configured in the container.
